About Us

There are many moments and milestones that God orchestrated to bring and call Caleb and Krystie to follow after Him. Caleb grew up in a strong christian, missions-minded home. His grandfather served as a teacher, pastor and church planter in the Dominican Republic. Looking to follow Christ and the lifelong service of his father-in-law, Caleb's father to his large family to help churches and para-church ministries. When Caleb was a child his family took a longer mission trip to build a hospital in Cay-Jacmel, Haiti. These experiences planted in Caleb the seed of desire serve others. After graduating from high school with a desire for ministry, Caleb pursued a bachelors of arts in Pastoral Studies at Cedarville University (CU). Caleb went on to pursue a Masters of Divinity with an educational emphasis from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary (GRTS). Along his journey, Caleb has had a heart for international students and spent much time helping them adjust to studying in another country. He also served in different campus ministries while at college and seminary such as in men's prayer leading Elijah's fire at CU and working as Student Chaplain with the Student Senate at GRTS.

Krystie also grew up in a strong Christian, missions-minded home. Her grandfather was a career missionary serving in Brazil. Her parents used their own resources to encourage missionaries, to fill in gaps while missionaries took furlow and serve in numerous other ministry areas. Her desire for ministry also began before going to college, but helped direct her to Moody Bible Institute (MBI) where she studied music. Some of her most impacting ministry opportunities at MBI were connecting with international students studying at various other universities. Krystie enjoyed studying music, but after graduating with a Bachelors of Music felt a desire for women's ministry. She decided to switch gears to study Counseling at GRTS with an emphasis on women's ministry. While there she also got involved in Student Senate and helped with putting on events in campus life ministries. She also worked at a church as their music director, and enjoyed doing woman's Sunday school classes there too.

Caleb and Krystie met and where married while studying at GRTS. They both felt called to devote their lives to ministry and had talked a lot about missions being a goal in the nearer future. They began by plugging into their local church and finding a niche in church ministry. They believe the things they learned and are learning will help them as they plan to be a part of church planting in Spain.

They have short term and long term goals in their missionary journey. In the beginning, both Caleb & Krystie need to spend a great deal of time learning the language (unfortunately neither learned a second language growing up). But there are some things that they feel might be used while they are doing this. Krystie would like to help with music in the churches. Caleb also has been used more recently in organizing events, leading special initiatives, and developing curriculum for church. When the Hague's feel they are more comfortable with the language, they would like to delve more into more personal ministries. Krystie has a passion to work with women in a more counseling form and Caleb would even like to do more teaching along with evangelism and discipleship.
