We spent a week at a missions conference with Washington Heights Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio. It was so encouraging. Caleb and I were able to present six times on Sunday to various adult groups, give brief testimonies on a few other various occasions through the week, and give a lesson to AWANA on Wednesday evening. We also really enjoyed spending time meeting new people, reacquainting old friendships, and sharing what God is doing in our lives. We felt so at home at the church it was hard to leave.
Things we learned: God is at work in this church and in their various thriving ministries. God can take us out of our comfort zone and have us do things we don't normally do to teach us that He can still work through us. God's blessings are so much greater than our desires for ourselves. God can use us (all of us) if we let Him.
